KARACHI (Web Desk) – Former Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf has said that India must not dare to think Pakistan as Myanmar.
“Pakistan is not Myanmar, and India dare not treat Pakistan as Myanmar,” the former army chief said in an interview to an Indian TV channel on Monday.
Slamming Modi’s comments in Dhaka, Musharraf said, ” …you are trying to whip up anti-Pakistan feelings in Bangladesh since 50 years, can we say it a very peaceful attitude.”
He said that India would face grave consequences if ever attacked, as Pakistan is a nuclear country and better knows how to retaliate.
Criticising India for its involvement in Balochistan unrest, he said, “Prime Minister Modi is a member of Indian extremist organisation Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), who had accepted the responsibility for Samjhota Express killings back in 2007.”
The former president made it clear in his interview that Kashmir is a disputed area and it must be resolved according to UN resolutions.
