Shahid Afridi urges CJP to fix black sheep within lower courts

LAHORE – Star all-rounder and former T20 skipper Shahid Afridi on Wednesday commended Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Saqib Nisar for taking a stand on issues of public welfare but suggested that he should also visit lower courts to find black sheep under his command.

Afridi took to Twitter to congratulate the Chief Justice for doing a “remarkable job”, saying his surprise visits to public facilities such as hospitals and colleges “have been of great service to the nation”.

The Chief Justice has been actively visiting government-run hospitals of Punjab, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to inspect the medical facilities for patients. He also took a number of suo motu notices of issues related to basic human rights such as health, education and water.
