Govt to auction 48 luxury-vehicles next week

ISLAMABAD – In a fulfilment of a promise made by Prime Minister Imran Khan, the PM House released a list of 48 remaining luxury and surplus vehicles to be auctioned by the government under the austerity drive.

The fourth phase of the auction will be conducted by Model Customs Collectorate, Islamabad on November 6, 2018, Tuesday 11:00 am at Islamabad Dryport, I-9, Islamabad.

The vehicles can be inspected on 6 November from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.

In his first address to the nation last month, Prime Minister Imran had asserted cutting government expenditure while promising that he would not live in the palatial PM House.

The 22nd premier had announced that there were 80 vehicles in possession of PM Office; however, he would retain only two of them.
