ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – The PML-N led government has uploaded an inquiry report of Judicial Commission that investigated allegations of rigging in 2013 general elections leveled by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

According to sources, the PML-N government decided to make the report public by uploading it on website of Ministry of Law. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will address the nation at 7pm today, the sources added.
The decision was taken at an informal meeting of ruling clique – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his closest aides only, the sources said.
Various options regarding public access to the inquiry report were discussed in the meeting.
The premier also called his legal team this evening for briefing over the report, before posting it on the website.
Earlier, a PM House spokesman confirmed that the report has been received at Prime Minister House.
The spokesman added the team would brief PM Nawaz on the report and subsequently the report would be uploaded on the website of the Ministry of Law.
Sources further said the judicial commission rejected Imran Khan’s allegations of ‘organised’ and ‘systematic’ rigging in the votes.

On the other hand, the PTI leaders said they would come out with a response after going through contents of the commission’s report.
PTI senior leader Jahangir Tareen claims PML-N is misrepresenting facts in its favour, demanding that the report be made public.
