ISLAMABAD – The appointment of Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja has been challenged in the Islamabad High Court.
Citizen Akmal Khan Bari Wednesday filed a petition against the appointment of the chief election commissioner through his lawyer Sardar Latif Khosa.
According to the cause list issued by the Registrar’s Office of the IHC, the petition against the appointment of the chief election commissioner has been scheduled for hearing tomorrow (Oct 3).
The chief justice of the Islamabad High Court will hear the petition.
