India again violates ceasefire along LoC

RAWALPINDI – Indian Border Security Force (BSF) Monday morning once again resorted to unprovoked shelling across the Line of Control at Iftikhar Abad sector in Azad Kashmir.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistan Army personnel befittingly responded the Indian aggression and silenced the guns across the border. The ceasefire violation took place between 12:00am to 4:00am.

There were no reports of any losses to lives and properties as a result of the cross-border firing.

Pakistani Foreign Office also took serious notice of the ceasefire violation by India, saying this was the third such incident during the last three days.

Earlier on Thursday, Indian claimed to have conducted a surgical strike in Azad Kashmir, however, Pakistan categorically rejected the claim. The ISPR said that it was only a ceasefire violation which was befittingly responded by Pakistan Army.
