He said that no one was above the law, even the ministers and political leaders were answerable adding that the ANF had all the evidence that was why it had not taken physical remand of Rana Sanaullah.
“The movement of the cars and their numbers will also be presented in the court,” he added.
The Minister said that at this stage, all the pieces of evidence could not be shared with media as it would be dangerous for the family members of those cooperating with the ANF as people behind the smuggling were brutal and cruel.
He said, “All the big fish would be brought to justice and made an example for others.”
On the occasion, Director General ANF Major General Arif said that ANF was a totally professional and competent force and had good repute locally and internationally.
He said that ANF had seized about 300 metric ton of drugs having value of four billion dollars in the international market during last year.
Till June this year, he said that over 100 metric tons of drugs valuing two billion dollars had been seized by the ANF.

“This is honor for the country, despite having border with Afghanistan, Pakistan is declared poppy-free country,” he added.
He said that about 85 percent poppy was cultivated in Afghanistan. He said that the conviction rate of ANF cases was 95 percent which was evidence that ANF always arrested culprits with evidence.
He said that the amount earned through smuggling of drugs was being used for purchase of weapons and lawlessness. He said that ANF had observed June 26 as international Narcotics Day and various programmes had been arranged across the country to create awareness.
About Rana Sanaullh, he said, the force would prove the case against Rana Sanaullah on the basis of evidence.
He said that it was not easy for the force to make any video during the arrest of high profile personality.
“This was not possible for us to make a video as it was not shooting any film,” he added.
The DG ANF said the force did not seek physical remand of Rana Sanaullah as it had sufficient evidence against him.
He said Anti-Narcotics operation was being carried out across-the-board and the force had to net big fish to purge the country of this menace.
