LAHORE – The undeclared assets of the former president, Asif Ali Zardari were attached in a crackdown on such assets launched by the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government.
Spokesperson to Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Gill took to Twitter on Thursday and shared the details of the said assets saying, this is Naya Pakistan.

According to the notification shared, the said properties were attached provisionally for a period of ninety days.
The government had announced assets declaration scheme under which the benami assets could be declared; the deadline for the scheme was extended till Wednesday.
Prime Minister Imran Khan repeatedly urged the public to avail the scheme or the said assets would be seized.

A few days earlier, Special Assistant to Prime Minister, Firdaus Ashiq Awan took to Twitter and shared the undeclared assets of Omni Group, a conglomerate owned by a friend of Asif Ali Zardari.
