ISLAMABAD (Online) – Like other parts of the world, Pakistan will commemorate World Environment Protection Day on Sunday.
Environment Protection Day is observed throughout the world on June 5, to raise awareness on the need for positive environmental initiatives to protect nature and planet earth.
The environment department along with social welfare organizations will arrange special rallies, walks, debates, seminars to observe the day, while prominent speakers and environment experts will also address people on issues of environment protection and the benefits of planting trees.
