KARACHI – Former President Dr Arif Alvi’s dental clinic in southern port city of Karachi has been sealed over violation of regulations.
The Sindh Building Control Authority, in a statement, said the dental clinic was established in a residential bungalow, and it was sealed due to violations of rules.
Arif Alvi was sent a notice warning him about this action, but no compliance was observed. The operation was carried out under the supervision of Assistant Director Shakeel Jamali.
It is recalled that Arif Alvi served as the 13th President of Pakistan, in office from 9 September 2018 to 10 March 2024. He was appointed to the post after the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf formed the government in 2018.
