KARACHI – Former Pakistani skipper Shahid Afridi has expressed that he has not gone through his biography, launched a few days ago.
At the book launch ceremony in Karachi on Saturday, the master blaster cleared the controversy surrounding his age by saying that he has not read ‘Game Changer’ as quoted by journalist Ahsan Iftikhar Nagi.

The biography penned by journalist Wajahat S Khan lifts the lid on different issues from match-fixing to the rivalry between Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis, however, the revelations about cricketer’s age opened up floodgates of criticism.
In the book, Afridi revealed that he was born in 1975, instead of 1977, casting doubts about his own record of 37-ball century at the age of 16.
“For the record, I was just nineteen, and not sixteen like they claim,” he writes in Game Changer.
Days after the age controversy, Afridi, while addressing the audience at a shopping mall, expressed that his birth year was incorrectly mentioned as 1975, instead of 1977.
Afridi said the digital of the book mentions the correct year of his birth though.
In a tweet, a few days ago, Afridi had confirmed that he was yet to receive the first copy of the book.
