An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad has granted a one-day physical remand of Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan, sisters of PTI founder Imran Khan, to the police.
Aleema and Uzma, along with 105 PTI workers, are facing charges under terrorism laws following their arrest at D-Chowk two days ago during protests. They were presented in court alongside Adnan Khan, brother of former National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser.
While police requested a 20-day remand, the court approved only one day for the three accused. Additionally, nine female PTI workers were sent to jail on judicial remand.
The case continues to draw attention as PTI leaders and supporters face legal proceedings amid heightened political tensions.
