LAHORE (Staff Report) – NADRA officials on Saturday informed an election tribunal that thumb impressions of 12,000 voters could not be verified in NA-118 in Lahore.
The forensic report further revealed that another 3,270 bogus CNICs were used to cast votes in the constituency during general election in 2013.
The tribunal judge, while accepting the forensic report of NADRA, ordered the legal counsels to conclude their arguments on August 15.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz candidate Malik Riaz was declared as winner from the constituency however Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Hamid Zaman challenged his victory at election tribunal.
