Police seek red warrants against Qandeel Baloch s brother

MULTAN – Police has requested the federal government to issue a red warrant against one of the brothers of slain model Qandeel Baloch, Arif who resides in Saudi Arabia.

The Mutan Police are seeking red warrants of Arif from the federal government so that they can arrest him through Interpol.

According to the police, the prime accused in the model’s murder case, Waseem, was in constant contact via telephone with his brother, Arif at the time of the murder.

Baloch’s parents had also named their two other sons, Aslam Shaheen and Arif as accomplices.

Previously, the additional district and sessions’ court judge rejected the bail plea of Muhammad Wasim.

In his petition, Wasim stated that the police implicated him in the case with malafide intention, pleading that the case would also take a long time to wind up, so keeping him in jail till the decision of the case was unjustified.

Qandeel Baloch’s Murder

Qandeel Baloch became a social media sensation in Pakistan after her risque posts on social media garnered attention.

The celebrity, hailing from Multan, uploaded her pictures on special occasions and also captured selfies alongside Mufti Abdul Qavi as she met him at a hotel.

When she became a well-known figure on social media, her family members disparaged her digital activities and on July 16, 2016, she was found murdered in her rented house in Multan. Her father alleged that she was killed by her younger brother, Waseem, in the name of honour.

Waseem, who had allegedly fled from the scene, later surrendered himself and confessed to killing his sister.
