KARACHI – Prime Minister Imran Khan will make his maiden visit to Karachi on September 16, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf said on Saturday.
Imran khan will chair a fundraising program for Bhasha Dam at the Governor House. Sindh Governor Imran Ismail has been assigned to organise the event.
Khan will also chair a meeting regarding the security situation and development projects under development in the city.
In the general election 2018, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) emerged as the largest party of Karachi and won 14 National Assembly seats out of total 21. Imran Khan stood victorious from NA-243 constituency.
The newly elected president, Dr Arif Alvi, is also from Karachi.
