LAHORE (Staff Report) – Ban imposed on pillion riding to improve security during Muharram ended.
Provincial governments imposed ban on pillion riding in various cities including Lahore, Karachi, Multan, Faisalabad, Hyderabad, Quetta and Peshawar keeping in view the law and order situation on Muharram.
Punjab IGP Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera has directed to release all detainees who were arrested for violating the ban after verification of documents of vehicles.
