LAHORE – Pakistan Railways has thanked the chairman of Pakistan’s upper house of Parliament for choosing their service to reach Punjab capital city from Islamabad.
Senate Chairman Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani Sunday took the more favoured mode of transportation by public office-holders to travel in his first trip to the city since he took the post last month.
Although he chose not to speak to the media during the train journey, he interacted with other passengers and took pictures with some of the commuters.
Sanjrani was welcomed by Railways Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mohammad Javed Anwar and Divisional Superintendent Sufiyan Sarfaraz Dogar who presented the Senate chairman with a flower bouquet on behalf of Railways Minister Saad Rafique.
