ISLAMABAD (Online) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said Pakistan will further strengthen bilateral relations with Qatar.
“Qatar is an important country for Pakistan and its importance in the region cannot be forgotten,” the premier said during a meeting with Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces Major General Ghanim Bin Shaheen Al Ghanim at Prime Minister House on Tuesday.
“There is vast opportunity for bolstering cooperation in industry and defence sectors between the two countries,” he added.
The army chief said he highly valued Qatar relations with Pakistan. “Both the countries are enjoying brotherly warm relations which will grow in all fields of bilateral cooperation.”
He lauded Zarb-e-Azb campaign and Pakistan role in war against terrorism. He also held out assurance of every possible cooperation from his country to Pakistan.
