ISLAMABAD (Online) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced schedule of Local Government elections in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).
Polling will be held on 30th November. Nomination papers for all categories of seats in each Union council of the Capital would be received from 26th to 29th of this month.
Objections to the nomination papers can be filed up to 31st of this month while scrutiny of nomination papers will take place from first to fourth of next month.
Appeals against acceptance or rejection of nomination papers will be heard on 5th and 6th, and will be disposed of from 7th to 9th of next month.
Candidates can withdraw their names by 10th while list of contesting candidates with symbols allotted to them will be published the following day.
