PPP drive against corruption is like BJP campaigning for rights of Muslims, says Nisar Ali Khan

ISLAMABAD – Interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan slammed Pakistan Peoples Party and expressed that their drive against corruption was like BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) campaigning for rights of Muslims.

The minister drew the analogy while speaking at a passing out parade on Tuesday. Nisar took aim at PPP apparently due to their demand regarding his resignation.

He said that during the PPP’s stint huge amount of money had been transferred abroad through money laundering by Javed Khanani and Munaf Kalia. He alleged that some government officials were also involved in that.

He berated PPP’s chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari adding that the name of Bilawal’s mother was mentioned in Panama Leaks. He took a sarcastic jibe at the chairman saying that Bilawal was unable to distinguish between different genders.

Nisar maintained that AD Khawaja was an honest man, who was sent on forced leave by Sindh government without any consultation from federal government.

He affirmed that scores of citizens were burnt to death in Karachi’s Baldia factory for money.

The legislator vowed to raise his voice in cabinet meeting in order to make the report of Abbottabad commission public.
