Rabbani bars Khawaja Asif to attend Senate session

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – The Senate Chairman Raza Rabbani banned Defence Minister Khawaja Asif from attending the current session of the senate.

According to details, taking notice of Defence Minister’s absence from the Upper House, Raza Rabbani expressed his anger and barred Khawaja Asif from attending the senate’s current session. He said that they had to finish the discussion on Army Chief’s Afghanistan visit but Asif did not come for meeting despite being informed through written letter.

Abid Sher Ali also got scolded by the chairman senate as he tried to give an explanation about Asif’s absence.

Raza Rabbani said that he cannot start discussion in absence of the Defence Minister neither he can stay silent on the insult of the House.
