NEW YORK (Staff Report) – Pakistan at the United Nation Security Council has reaffirmed its commitment to eliminate all terrorists without any distinction.
Addressing a debate on situation in Afghanistan, Pakistan’s Ambassador Maleeha Lodhi said, any effort to destabilize parts of our country or to attack its territorial integrity will be responded forcefully.
Acknowledging terrorism as a common challenge, she said, Pakistan has condemned the recent rise in violence in Afghanistan, including the atrocious attack on Afghan Parliament.
She reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to cooperation with Afghanistan in fighting the scourge of terrorism.
Maleeha Lodhi said Pakistan would play a constructive role in promoting peace and security in Afghanistan.
