Iran hands over 35 illegal immigrants to Pakistan

QUETTA – The Iranian authorities on Sunday handed 35 illegal Pakistani immigrants to Levies authorities at the Taftan border on Sunday.

According to Levies sources, the accused were arrested after found hiding in various areas of Iran without having legal documents in an attempt to leave for Europe.

Following preliminary legal process, the Levies force handed them over to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for further investigation.

Pakistanis living in Iran illegally or trying to enter Iran illegally are caught every year by Iranian police.

Iran often deports Pakistanis entering the country without travel documents.
