KARACHI – In the case of kidnapping the son of PPP MPA Ghulam Murtaza Baloch, a police official has been allegedly found involved in the abduction, ARY News reported.
On Wednesday, police recovered Baloch’s son, Hayat who was abducted in Karachi earlier this week from Gadap Town area.
During the operation, the police killed five alleged kidnappers, said SSP Malir Rao Anwar on Wednesday during a press conference.
The ARY News quoting the SSP said that one of the killed suspects was a police official, who was deployed in Shikarpur but had worked in Karachi to assist census process. The police official has been identified as Mukhtar.
On Tuesday, unknown men had kidnapped Baloch’s son Hayat at gunpoint from the same area and demanded Rs10 million ransom from the family.
