ANP asks PTI to resign from KPK on rigging

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Awami National Party’ spokesman Sardar Hussain Babak said on Thursday that PTI should resign from KPK government after the report of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) against alleged rigging  in local bodies’ polls.

In a statement, Sardar Hussain Babak said that re-polling announcement of 365 polling stations by ECP was the evidence of failure of provincial government.

He said that Chairman PTI Imran Khan had given a statement that his government would resign if rigging evidence were given.

He further said that due to the interference of provincial government in LG polls the ECP cannot play its due role. He said that decision of ECP has unmasked the face of PTI that how they were making slogans about fair and transparent elections in the province.
