KARACHI (Staff Report) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan, has arrived here to meet families of the victims of severe heatwave that killed over 1000 people in five days.
As per detail, PTI chief cut short his visit to UK in the wake of heat deaths in Sindh. He was on a private trip to London to spend time with his sons.
Upon his arrival in Karachi, Khan announced to visit hospitals to enquire about health of heat-affectees in the city and meet victim families.
Speaking to media persons, Khan held center and Sindh government responsible for the deaths, saying that authorities were not prepared even after deaths of hundreds of people in India.
