KARACHI (Staff Report) – Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan has lashed out at federal and provincial governments over more than 1000 deaths due to heatwave and prolonged power failures.
Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, Khan said “It is Sindh government’s fault but at the end of the day, PM is responsible for every governance issue in the country”.
After inquiring health of the patients at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), the PTI chief said that Pakistan is witnessing worst failure of governance as the people are dying due to heat, load shedding and water shortage.
While criticizing the government, Imran Khan said that children are dying and the rulers are busy spending billions on metro bus project.
Khan also slammed Khawaja Asif, saying “The courtier of Sialkot must have some shame. He demanded Asif’s resignation over poor performance.
“Sindh government was nowhere seen in this crisis as the ‘Royal Family’ flown to Dubai”, he added.
