RAWALPINDI – Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa discussed regional developments including Afghan Peace Process with senior United Kingdom officials on Tuesday.
According to military’s media wing, the military chief met UK National Security Advisor, Mark Sedwill at the Cabinet Office and Permanent Secretary Stephen Lovegrove at the Ministry of Defence in London.
The top UK military officials acknowledged Pakistan’s contributions towards regional peace.
A day earlier, Pakistan and the UK held a delegation level strategic dialogue to discuss geo-strategic environment and bilateral military cooperation.
Pakistan’s military chief is on an official tour to London and has also met British Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Sir Nick Carter.
