ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Foreign Office summoned Indian Deputy High Commissioner JP Singh on Wednesday to record a protest over Indian army’s unprovoked firing across Line of Control (LoC) that killed two women, a day earlier.
According to highly placed sources, the Foreign Office has handed over a protest letter to the Indian Deputy High Commissioner while condemning India’s unprovoked act of targeting the civilians.
India, that is consistently targeting the valleys along the Line of Control, making the life of commoners miserable has also been reminded about the 2003 ceasefire agreement.

The Indian army used artillery, heavy mortars and automatic guns during shelling in villages Qaisar Kot and Nokot in Lipa sector yesterday that left two dead while inflicting injury on six others.
Two women identified as Maryam and Sumaira Younus were martyred while Muhammad Shakeel, Muhammad Anwar Beg, Munir Ahmad, Zeeshan, Rafiq Ahmad and Nasreen were wounded.
