Addressing a press conference in Rangers Headquarters, Colonel Qaisar Khattak told media that the paramilitary force has arrested two target killers over their involvement in killing two Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) workers in Karachi on July 17.
Colonel Khattak said that two target killers namely Raheem and Danish belonged to MQM-London and received the orders from the South African chapter of the party.
The Rangers official ran Altaf Hussain’s message which read like “I want you, the whole committee, managing committee and every single person to accept my congratulations. This was a beautiful program attended by some great people and was a success. I feel a lot of people will die.”
Khattak revealed that the messages were retrieved from the cell phone of Danish, one of the target killers.
The Rangers official claimed that the arrested duo confessed their involvement in not only in the killing of the PSP members, but also to other murders on the orders of the party leadership.
He added that the suspects have named other people who are in contact with MQM-London leadership and are planning the killing of rival party men.
Khattak said that Pakistan Rangers Sindh has one message for such elements that their reign has passed.
