KARACHI (Staff Report) – Pakistan largest welfare foundation, Edhi Foundation, on Tuesday refused to accept aid from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In a statement the spokesman said that Edhi Foundation has a policy to accept no donations from government or government run institutions. The foundation meets all of its financial needs through donations from common people.
The statement further added that Edhi Foundation has never received any funding from any government around the world.
I don’t think any amount of words are enough to thank the Edhi family for taking care of Geeta. They are apostles of kindness & compassion.

What the Edhi family has done is too priceless to be measured but I am happy to announce a contribution of Rs. 1 crore to their foundation.
