SRINAGAR – The leadership of the Kashmir resistance movement Thursday urged Kashmiris to continue the shutdown against the Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir till October 6.
The joint call has been given by All Parties Hurriyet Conference Chairman Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik.
The protest calendar includes freedom marches, rallies and demonstrations in occupied Kashmir.
The leaders will also lead a massive protest rally in Srinagar to highlight the human right violations committed by Indian forces during last three months.
Some 110 Kashmiri protesters have been killed by Indian forces in different parts of the occupied valley since July 8, when pro-freedom fighter Burhan Wani was murdered in an encounter.
The extrajudicial killing sparked a latest wave of protests across the valley and since then India forces have declared curfew situation in most cities of Occupied Kashmir.
