Pakistan Voices Solidarity With Lebanon Amid Rising Israeli Violence

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan has condemned Israeli violence in Lebanon and called for United Nations intervention in the war-torn region.

A statement issued by Foreign Office strongly condemned recent escalation of Israeli military actions in the Middle East, particularly in Lebanon. Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) expressed alarm over Israel’s ongoing attacks on civilian populations and its blatant disregard for international law.

He emphasised that, over the past several days, Israeli forces have persistently violated Lebanon’s sovereignty by targeting civilian areas, undermining the country’s stability and security.

Islamabad extended its heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and the people of Lebanon affected by these attacks. The statement also highlighted significant escalation following the recent killing of the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, which has further intensified tensions in the region.

Pakistani government and people reaffirmed its solidarity with the Lebanese and urged the United Nations Security Council to take immediate action to restrain Israel’s military actions and restore peace in the Middle East.
