KARACHI – A female student has accused the deputy directory finance of the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University, Lyari, of harassment.
The university administration has formed an investigation committee after a complaint was lodged by the alleged victim. A meeting will be held on October 2 while the suspect, deputy director finance, has been directed to ensure his presence in the meeting.
According to the letter, it is essential for the committee to ensure a fair and thorough review of the complaint, during which the statements of all involved parties will be heard before a decision is made.
A BBA student has alleged that the deputy director of finance engages in inappropriate conversations with her and has made unethical remarks regarding her fiancé. She has submitted a written complaint against the officer.
University Registrar Wasim Mirza stated that an investigation into the incident will be conducted, and action will be taken if anyone is found to be involved.
