ISLAMABAD – German Ambassador Martin Kobler, who is very much popular in local media for promoting Pakistani culture, has got a Sherwani (a knee-length coat buttoning to the neck).

The outgoing envoy, donning black coloured Sherwani took to Twitter saying “SURPRIZE!! I also made a sherwani on my way out have a look and tell me if it suits me?”
He also thanked the tailors for such a wonderful Sherwani.
“I wonder how people will react in Berlin when I wear this,” he said.
Recently, he has appreciated the Sindh police move to recruit transgender persons in the force. He is known for his vibrant social media presence and he makes no secret of anything beautiful he comes across in Pakistan.

He also got a Vespa painted with Pakistani truck art.
The 66-year-old career diplomat also served as Special Representative, Head of United Nations Support Mission in Libya from November 4th 2015 to June 22nd of 2017.
