PMD predicts hot, dry weather in most parts of country

ISLAMABAD – Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while it is expected to be very hot in south Punjab and Sindh during the next 12 hours, the Radio Pakistan reported on Thursday.

Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted that dust storm with rain is expected in isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Sargodha, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Gujranwala, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.

Minimum temperature of some major cities recorded this morning was Islamabad 20 degree centigrade, Lahore 26, Karachi 27, Peshawar 24, Quetta 15, Gilgit 11, Murree 13 degree centigrade and Muzafarabad 18.

Meanwhile, the weather remained dry in most parts of the country, and hot in Sindh during the past 24 hours. Jaccobabad, Shaheed Benazirabad, Bahawalnagar remained the hottest places in the country with temperature rising up to 44°C.
