Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan agree to enhance cooperation, land and air connectivity

BISHKEK – Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan have agreed to strengthen land and air connectivity between the two countries.

This agreement was reached at meeting between Prime Minister Imran Khan and Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Sharipovich Jeenbekov on the sidelines of the SCO Summit in Bishkek on Thursday.

According to Radio Pakistan, the two leaders reviewed bilateral relations and agreed to comprehensively upgrade mutual cooperation in diverse fields.

They also agreed to enhance people-to-people contacts and boost tourism cooperation through friendly visa regimes.

Both leaders also agreed to the Joint Ministerial Commission and Bilateral Political Consultations soon.

Prime Minister Imran Khan congratulated Kyrgyz President on hosting SCO Summit and invited the Kyrgyz President to visit Pakistan.
