ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on Prime Minister Imran Khan at the PM Office on Monday.
The overall security situation of the country was discussed during the meeting, according to a press release by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The meeting was also attended by Director General Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed and ISPR Director General Major General Asif Ghafoor.
The army chief and the two other generals were also part of PM Imran’s delegation during his first visit to the United States last week.

Earlier today, PM Imran also called President Arif Alvi to brief him on his recent visit to the US.
The president praised the prime minister and called the visit pivotal for conveying Pakistan’s narrative on regional and international issues of importance.
President Alvi also said that these high-level visits will hopefully strengthen relations between America and Pakistan.
