QUETTA (Online) – At least eight suspects were arrested in an operation in Gwadar on Tuesday.
The Frontier Corps personnel and intelligence agencies arrested the suspects who are said to be involved in an armed attack on the Jiwani airport in Gwadar district.
An FC spokesman said the detained suspects were members of a banned militant outfit and were involved in terrorist activities and acts of target killing.
The suspects were shifted to an unknown location for further investigation, he said.
At least two Civil Aviation Authority engineers were killed when militants attacked on CAA installations at the Jiwani airport near Balochistan’s Gwadar port on August 30.
