Army Chief witnesses closing ceremony of Pak-China joint exercise Warrior-III

RAWALPINDI (Staff Report) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Tuesday paid visit to Bahadur Ranges in Attock to witness the closing ceremony of Pak-China joint military exercise ‘Warrior-III’.

Special Services Groups (SSG) of Pakistan army and People’s Republic Army (PLA) took part in seven week long ‘Warrior-III’ to enhance their professional readiness against terrorism.

According to DG Inter-Services Public Relations Major-General Asim Bajwa the COAS congratulated all participants of exercise for displaying high level professional skills while addressing the troops. He said the special relationship between Pak-China Armies which has transformed overtime will grow to unprecedented heights.

“Both, China and Pak, will continue to work towards total elimination of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations,” said Army Chief.

Furthermore COAS commended troops of SSG for their outstanding performance in Operation Zarb-e-Azb. He vowed to Zarb-e-Azb till the complete destruction of terrorists.
