NA-154 by-poll elections postponed on orders of Supreme Court

ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – The Supreme Court has ordered to postpone the NA-154 by-elections in Lodhran, which were scheduled to be held on October 11.

PTI senior leader Jahangir Tareen has said that PML-N is skeptical of its victory in NA-154 and therefore, finding an escape route.

Two days earlier, prominent leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) from Lodhran joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Election tribunal declared the election of Independent candidate Sadiq Baloch as null and void. Baloch had joined PML-N after his election in 2013.
