Prince Williams is having a great time on his first-ever visit to Japan.
The royal donned a Samurai warlord’s outfit at a Tokyo television studio. But he revealed his growing bald spot when his headgear was removed.
Earlier, he had declined to wear a Samurai wig, according to Dailystar.
Wills was visiting NHK, Japan’s public broadcaster, when he dressed up as a character from popular programme Taiga.
The show, Japan’s equivalent of period drama Downton Abbey, features Samurai warlord Toyotomi Hideyoshi, whose outfit Wills tried on.
The prince, 32, also posed with a Samurai sword as he struggled to keep the heavy helmet on.
William later donned green kimono-style pyjamas for dinner with prime minister Shinzo Abe.
He is visiting the country as part of a weeklong tour of the Far East designed to strengthen relations with the UK.
His pregnant wife Kate, 33, and one-year-old son George have stayed at home.
Earlier, the prince visited Fukushima, one of the worst hit areas when 19,000 people died in the earthquake and tsunami four years ago.
Wills juggled balls with children at a park 30 miles from the no-go Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, which was badly damaged in the disaster.
