ISLAMABAD (Online) – Pakistan has refused to register nine international non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
These NGOs will not be able to operate in Pakistan under new policy which was reviewed two years earlier.
According to media reports, the nine international NGOs include US and UK institutions and they have been refused to be registered under guidelines issued in 2013. Save the Children is also among these nine NGOs.
150 NGOs had submitted their documents in 2014 at Economic Affairs Division for the registration purpose.
