ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – President Mamnoon Hussain has offered a mediation to resolve the growing rifts between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan, for the sake of country’s betterment.
In a brief media talk on Wednesday, Mr Mamnoon Hussain said that Imran Khan has never visited me at President House since I have assumed the office. I invite Imran Khan to visit President House and hold a meeting with me, he added.
He further added that I will also invite Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to presidency and urge both leaders to give the politics of confrontation. I am ready to play a role if I can play any, the president said.
