LAHORE (Staff Report) – As many as two terrorists have been apprehended during a raid near Bhatta Chowk area on Beddian Road in Lahore, officials told newsmen on Tuesday.
According to a statement, personnel of intelligence agencies and Punjab police participated in the raid and arrested two Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan associated militants.
The arrested people have been identified as Amjad and Yousuf.
Security agencies have also recovered 130kg explosive material, modern weapons and other chemicals.
The culprits were planning a terrorist activity in the city, said officials.
