30 unverified Pakistani deportees sent back to Greece

ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – As many as thirty ‘Pakistani deportees’ and crew were barred from coming out of a charted plane which landed at Islamabad’s Benazir International Airport.

The deportees, who were said to be Pakistani nationals, were brought from Greece however the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) allowed only those having verified documents of deportation come out of the plane.

According to a statement of Interior Ministry, thirty unverified deportees were sent back to Greece through the same charted plane.

Media reports say that Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan had taken the notice of allowing the charted plane to land on airport with out prior permission. He asked the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) officials to explain the matter in a statement.
