ISLAMABAD – The Afghan Taliban received a stern response from the Pakistani military for firing at the border, with retaliatory fire resulting in the deaths of eight Taliban members, including two key commanders.
The Afghan Taliban have once again engaged in unprovoked aggression at the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. It is well-known that the Afghan Taliban have facilitated terrorist attacks on Pakistan, and now their aggressive behavior at the international border is becoming increasingly apparent.
According to sources, on the morning of September 7, the Afghan Taliban fired indiscriminately with heavy weapons from the Afghan area of Pulusan at Pakistani checkpoints.
Sources indicated that the Pakistani Army responded decisively to the firing from the Afghan side, causing significant damage to the Afghan Taliban.
Reliable sources further reported that eight Afghan Taliban members were killed and sixteen were injured, including two important commanders, Khalil and Jan Muhammad.
