ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has recently arrested 40 people involved in human smuggling in a nationwide operation, said a report on Monday.
According to details, the human traffickers were arrested from Islamabad, Lahore, Gujranwala and several other cities. Passports and fake travel documents were also recovered from their custody.
The accused are being tried at different concerned courts in their respective areas, it said.
The anti-human smuggling operation was started on special instructions of Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Khan.
