Pakistan Armed Forces Fulfill Their Promise To Nation With Decisive Response Dg Ispr

RAWALPINDI – ISPR Director General Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, accompanied by senior Air Force and Navy officers, held a press conference highlighting Pakistan’s response to Indian aggression through Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos.

He stated, “Alhamdulillah, the Pakistan Armed Forces fulfilled their promise to the nation. India committed unprovoked aggression, shedding innocent Pakistani blood. In response, we launched Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos.”

Lt Gen Chaudhry paid tribute to the martyrs and reaffirmed that the military had made three commitments to the nation: a strong response, choosing the timing and method of retaliation, and ensuring the world would take notice. “Pakistan Army targeted 26 military sites used in attacks against us, including radar systems and BrahMos missile bases in Uri, Poonch, Suratgarh, and Pathankot,” he added.

He confirmed successful strikes on India’s S-400 missile systems at two locations and described cyberattacks that crippled Indian military systems. “Our retaliation was measured, precise, and demonstrated our technological edge—only a glimpse of our broader capabilities,” he noted.

The DG ISPR thanked the Prime Minister and cabinet for making crucial decisions during a critical time, praised the support of the nation and media, and warned, “If our sovereignty is violated again, our response will be comprehensive, forceful, and decisive.”

He further alleged Indian involvement in terrorism inside Pakistan, especially during Pakistan’s heightened focus on the eastern border, vowing that all such acts would be met with a powerful response.

Pakistani armed drones conducted continuous flights over India: ISPR DG

ISPR Director General Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry revealed that Pakistan’s armed drones continuously flew over major Indian cities — from Delhi to Gujarat via occupied Kashmir — to demonstrate the country’s capabilities and highlight the limited role of drones in modern warfare.

Advanced Capabilities Held in Reserve for Future Use

He stated that Pakistan’s armed forces possess several advanced combat capabilities, some of which were deployed in a limited manner during the recent conflict, while others were intentionally held back for future strategic use.

Lt. Gen. Chaudhry noted that Pakistan’s response to India’s repeated provocations was “measured, precise, and limited,” targeting only those elements involved in the killing of civilians and acts of terrorism.

Spike in Indian-Sponsored Terrorism in Balochistan and KP

While Pakistan’s military was engaged along the eastern front, there was a noticeable surge in Indian-sponsored terrorism in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, he added.

During the joint press conference, representatives from the Pakistan Navy and Air Force also detailed their successful roles in Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos.

Vice Admiral Rab Nawaz’s statement

Vice Admiral Rab Nawaz confirmed that all ports remained operational and under constant watch. “We monitored Indian naval movements closely. We were, and remain, ready for any conflict,” he said.

He warned India that any future misadventure would be met with a response far stronger than words. He noted that the Indian Navy had remained 400 nautical miles from Pakistan’s maritime boundary, deterred by Pakistan’s readiness.

Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed’s remarks

Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed affirmed that Pakistan Air Force remains committed to defending the country’s airspace. “Indian aircraft were shot down for violating the Line of Control, and drones targeting civilians were also engaged,” he said.

Ceasefire was India’s request: ISPR DG

In response to a question, the ISPR DG clarified that Pakistan made no request to the U.S. for a ceasefire. “The request and desire for a ceasefire came from India, which sought U.S. assistance,” he emphasized.
