PESHAWAR – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced public holidays on the occasion of Eidul Azha 2026.
The KP government has issued a notification in this regard, stating that the Eid break will be observed from May 26 to May 29 (Tuesday to Friday).
The Eidul Azha holidays followed by two weekly offs (Saturday and Sunday), making it a six-day break for the government employees.
Similarly, the Sindh government has announced four days of official holidays for Eidul Azha, from May 26 to May 29.
Earlier, the federal government had also issued a notification announcing Eid holidays from May 26 to May 28.
The holy month of Zil Hajj started from 18 May 2026. The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee announced that Eidul Azha will be observed in Pakistan on 10 Zil Hajj (May 27).
